Bethesda has announced a delay on the release of DOOM Eternal
During the development of DOOM eternal, Bethesda’s goal has always been to deliver a game that exceeds expectations. To ensure that players get the best experience, Bethesda has made the decision to postpone the launch for a few months to March 20, 2020. They realize that a large number of fans will be disappointed by this delay, but they are also very confident that the DOOM Eternal gaming experience will be worth the wait.
In addition to the postponed release date of DOOM Eternal, Bethesda also announced some important changes to come to DOOM Eternal. Invasion Mode is one of them, where you can break into another player’s game as a playable demon, and will be released shortly after release as a free update. The Release for Nintendo Switch will happen after the release on other platforms and its exact release date will follow.
DOOM 64 will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in addition to the Nintendo Switch version. Bethesda is adding DOOM 64 as a pre-order bonus for Doom Eternal on all platforms and so you can download and play this classic for free by pre-ordering DOOM Eternal.
