Bethesda’s E3 2016 showcase

Bethesda is rather known for having solid lineups at E3 and their showcase for E3 2016 is just as impressive as last year. We won’t keep you from them for too long, you’ll be able to find all titles in alphabetical order below.

Dishonored 2

In the worldwide premiere of gameplay, the trailer of Dishonored 2 shows off its new setting, new hero and new mission design. Players will return to the Empire of the Isles, beginning and ending in Dunwall – the bleak industrial city of the first game – while most action takes place in Karnaca, the dazzling Mediterranean-inspired capital of Serkonos. Set fifteen years after the first game, Corvo Attano is accompanied by his daughter Emily Kaldwin whom is now a powerful figure ruling the Empire. Both characters will be playable and are fully voiced with their own perspectives and emotional responses to events. Staying true to the classic Dishonored gameplay, the sequel will have themed missions that include many pathways to explore. Dishonored 2 is scheduled to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 11, 2016.

The Elder Scrolls Online

It has already been two years since the launch of The Elder Scrolls Online. The multiplayer game has already seen numerous updates and DLC packs and the latest DLC Dark Brotherhood will release this week. The biggest news however is not the amount of content already released – or about to be released – but what is to come. Starting this fall, all content barriers will be removed and you’ll be able to experience all Tamriel has to offer, regardless of your level. PvP areas and Alliance restrictions will still be enforced but being able to group up with anyone and explore any region you want is a positive feature that we will certainly enjoy.

Quake Champions

While last in line, Quake Champions actually kick started the BE3 showcase with a stunning cinematic trailer. In Quake Champions, the fast and skill-based arena-style competition from the original Quake games has returned featuring a roster of unique characters, each with their own distinctive abilities. Capturing the essence of Quake, the multiplayer shooter allows a new generation of players to experience the groundbreaking franchise while veterans can finally try their hand at a Quake game that is built for eSports.
