Call of Duty: Modern Warfare – Release date announced

Great news for the Call of Duty fans! The most praised Call of Duty series, Modern Warfare, is back!

The new Modern Warfare will take players to conflicts in the present where they will have to make split-second decisions to change the outcome of the fight. A new engine is also featured with now a more impressive and realistic experience. Thermic- and night vision will both become even more fancy with Spectral rendering.

“Modern Warfare has been reinvented in all kinds of ways,” says Dave Stohl, co-Studio Head, Infinity Ward. “We created an emotional experience, inspired by the newspaper articles of the present, where rules are in a gray area and war fronts are faded. Players will join a selection of international special ops and freedom fighters, in touching and heartbreaking missions through European cities and vast areas in the Middle East. It is intense, it is exciting and we can’t wait till our players can play it starting October.”

“Every choice in the design is made with the players in mind,” says Patrick Kelly, Creative Director and co-Studio Head, Infinity Ward. “ we want to assemble the community through the release of Modern Warframe. First of all, we are planning to make cross-play for Modern Warfare available between PC and console. We are also removing the traditional season pass, so we can offer more free maps, content and fun community events for everyone. And this is only the beginning – even more, is coming.”

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be released the 25th of October for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Players can now pre-order Modern Warfare and get a prestigious token which can instantly be used in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on the same platform as they pre-ordered Modern Warfare.
