Camila Cabello performs a haunting track in the new Diablo IV trailer
Blizzard has unveiled the live-action cinematic trailer for Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred, directed by Jon Watts, known for his work on the Spider-Man films. The trailer follows Neyrelle’s dangerous journey to Nahantu and her struggle with the powerful Soulstone. Latin Grammy Award-winning singer Camila Cabello lends her voice to a haunting new version of Behind Blue Eyes, adding depth to the dark tone of the trailer.
Watts, a longtime Diablo fan, was eager to helm the project. “I’ve been playing Diablo since my teenage years, so I was ready to dive in,” Watts said. Cabello was equally excited about the collaboration, saying, “Bringing Behind Blue Eyes into the world of Sanctuary was thrilling. We transformed the song’s lyrics with Diablo‘s darker tones to reflect Neyrelle’s journey in Vessel of Hatred.”
Rod Fergusson, General Manager of Diablo, praised the project, saying, “this trailer offers a glimpse of the dark and thrilling world awaiting players in Diablo IV‘s first expansion.”
