Get your first glimpse at The Blood of Dawnwalker

Rebel Wolves has revealed a cinematic first look at The Blood of Dawnwalker, their upcoming action RPG. The game is set in an alternate 14th-century Europe plagued by war and the Black Death. In the secluded region of Vale Sangora in the Carpathians, vampires seize this moment of human weakness to step out of the shadows. Overthrowing the feudal lords, they claim power and freedom, reshaping history in their image. The Blood of Dawnwalker introduces Coen, a young man transformed into a Dawnwalker—a being caught between humanity and vampirism. Players are given 30 in-game days and nights to determine Coen’s path, whether it’s saving his family, seeking revenge against his father, or pursuing other choices.
Inspired by classic RPGs, The Blood of Dawnwalker features a narrative sandbox approach, allowing players to explore an open world where time is a critical resource. Coen’s dual nature as a Dawnwalker introduces a dynamic gameplay element, with distinct skills and abilities available depending on the time of day. Players can choose to align with humanity or embrace the powers of vampirism, leading to different story outcomes. Rebel Wolves plans to release more details about The Blood of Dawnwalker in the coming months, including a gameplay reveal scheduled for this summer. The studio, co-founded by Witcher 3 director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, is collaborating with Bandai Namco Entertainment to bring the game to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
