In a new Nintendo Direct livestream, Nintendo made a series of announcements about games coming to the Nintendo Switch this year and next. The presentation included the reveal of the official name and release date of the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, as well as a mysterious new trailer that included new gameplay set high in the clouds. Other highlights include the reveals of new titles, such as Pikmin 4, Fire Emblem Engage, and Octopath Traveler II, new trailers, and release dates for upcoming titles like Bayonetta 3 and Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope.
In addition, ports for games like Resident Evil Village and Kirby’s Return to Dream Land were revealed and a whole slew of DLC, including Splatoon 3’s first splatfest, more Mario Kart courses, and additional content for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is also on its way. As if that wasn’t enough, Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass subscribers will soon be able to play a whole host of new Nintendo 64 titles, including Pokémon Stadium 2! It’s a lot to take in -we haven’t even mentioned half of the reveals- so we suggest you grab a drink and a snack and set yourself down for the next 45 minutes as you catch up on every reveal below.
