Celebrate Halloween with Song of Horror on PC

Halloween just got a lot spookier, as Raiser Games announced that brand new survival horror game Song of Horror will hit Steam on October 31st. The game uses an unusual but interesting approach to its story, with 13 characters that each offer their own perspective on the events that unfold, painting the story in a new light every time you revisit Song of Horror. The events in Song of Horror all revolve around elusive writer Sebastian P. Husher, who has gone missing without rhyme or reason, along with his entire family. Each of the 13 characters attempts to piece together Husher’s final steps and apparent demise while encountering a string of events that lift the lid on something truly dreadful: a nameless, dark entity known only as the Presence.

The Presence uses a unique AI system that makes it respond to the player’s actions in a variety of ways. Even if the player does the exact same action twice, that doesn’t mean the Presence will respond in the same way. In addition, the game uses as permadeath mechanic: should a character die, one of the others will pick up where the victim met their untimely demise, although their perspective will shift as well. The full game is released over various episodes. The season starts on October 31st when the first two episodes land on steam.
