Children of Morta receives new DLC
11 bit studios and Dead Mage have announced the newest expansion for their hit roguelite Children of Morta. The Ancient Spirits DLC, priced at $4.99 on all platforms, introduces a completely new character alongside five relics, charms, and graces, to provide players with new powers to further enhance combat.
Born out of the love between a man and a goblin, the new character, Yajouj’Majouj, introduces his form and skill switch mechanic. Players will be able to swap between spinning whirlwinds of Spirit Embers to area-of-effect magnetic powers to destroy their enemies.
To celebrate the release of the DLC, Children of Morta: Ancient Spirits and Children of Morta: Complete Edition are on sale right now, alongside the publisher’s full catalog on Steam between October 7th and 14th. Those undecided will also have the chance to try out the game with the upcoming demo for Nintendo Switch, available from October 15th.
