Chrono Trigger receives its first patch!
Chrono Trigger, the game from Square Enix Ltd., received its first patch (with more to come!). It’s based on user feedback and is focused on the graphical elements. Most importantly you can choose between the newer high resolution graphics or the ‘original’, which is based on the original style of Chrono Trigger. They also re-ordered the opening cinematics and reworked the font and dialogue windows to better match the classic look and feel.
Later updates will contain other changes like adjusted user interfaces for gamepad and mouse + keyboard, better resolution videos and more. They also extended the availability of the Limited Edition of Chrono Trigger. That one contains wallpapers, a medley of the original music and digital notes of componist Yasunori Mitsuda. It is now available until 30th April, 2018.
