Classic folk tale-inspired game Yaga brings dark humor to your console
Darkly funny action RPG Yaga is now available across all major platforms, and to celebrate the occasion, players on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch can also enjoy a 20% discount for launch week. Inspired by classic Slavic folk tales, Yaga tells the story of Ivan, a one-handed blacksmith with incredibly bad luck, who must take on impossible tasks given to him by the tzar. The mysterious witch Baba Yaga watches over Ivan’s misadventures as he bludgeons a variety of monsters and legends.
The game utilizes a deep forging system, allowing players to craft a vast arsenal of hammers and tools that Ivan will need to survive in this dark underworld of pagan beliefs and motley creatures. In addition to the weapons that Ivan forges himself, an array of talismans magic items, curses and blessings fundamentally change the playstyle of the game. In addition to the aforementioned launch week discount on the base game, players that purchase the game through the Epic Games store and PS4 can get the Bad Luck Bundle at a 20% discount as well.
