Corpse Party II gets a revised launch date
Marvelous Europe has announced a new 2025 release date for Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC via Steam. Originally slated for fall 2024, the delay aims to enhance game quality. Physical pre-orders for the standard edition are available at select retailers, with digital details to be revealed later.

Together, they must avoid the vengeful spirit of Ayame Kirishima and other horrors while searching for a way to lift the curse.
Featuring six chapters and eight additional scenarios, Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion offers a new 3D-rendered setting and first- and third-person exploration, complemented by visual novel-style storytelling. With updated visuals, Japanese voiceovers, and binaural audio, the game promises an immersive horror experience for both longtime fans and newcomers. Developed by MAGES., Corpse Party II will be published by Marvelous Europe in Europe and Australia, and XSEED Games in North America.
