Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII – Reunion launches today!
Square Enix have announced that the highly anticipated remaster of Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII – Reunion is available starting today. Nearly 15 years after the release of the original version of Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII – Reunion, which appeared exclusively for the PSP, the beloved story of SOLDIER operative Zack Fair is revived. This remastered version is packed with new features, including completely improved HD graphics for characters, UI, and environments, a re-arranged soundtrack by original composer Takeharu Ishimoto, a revised, action-packed combat system, with the option to activate Limit Breaks and Summons, a streamlined “Digital Mind Wave” (DMW) system and fully voiced dialogues in English and Japanese, featuring distinguished voice actors who worked on Final Fantasy VII Remake.
Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII – Reunion retains the heart of the beloved PSP classic, and enriches it with modern technology for a more immersive and gripping gameplay experience that both newcomers and existing fans will enjoy. The game’s story begins seven years before the events of Final Fantasy VII and follows the story of Zack Fair, a young Shinra soldier. When Zack sets out as Sephiroth’s SOLDIER 1st Class in search of missing SOLDIER agent Genesis Rhapsodos, he discovers the dark secrets behind Shinra’s experiments and the monsters they create. When Zack faces betrayal and secrets, he questions everything and everyone in his life. Now Zack must choose his own path to protect his loved ones and fight for the only thing left to him – his honor as a soldier.
