CrossfireX launches straight into open beta on June 25
CrossfireX is an ambitious project, having South Korean studio Smilegate Entertainment bring in all their expertise at crafting complex multiplayer content, while Finnish studio Remedy Entertainment – famous from games such as Max Payne and Alan Wake – focusses on a deep narrative single-player experience. Add in Xbox for the perfect delivery, and we have one of the more anticipated Xbox One exclusives to come out in 2020. CrossfireX pulls players into the bloody conflict between two highly-trained private military factions, with already three confirmed multiplayer modes and a singleplayer campaign, those curious can already take a peek this week. Today a closed beta starts, just for people on the Xbox Insider Hub. Others need only wait until June 25, when an open beta will launch for all Xbox One players. This open beta will last until the 29th and everybody partaking will receive a unique weapon skin for use in the game itself.
