Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss gets a release date and trailer
In Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss, we once again have a game on our hands where you delve into deep Lovecraftian horror. This narrative-focused adventure game with a touch of horror is made by NACON and indie studio Big Bad Wolf. They first revealed the title at the Galaxies Showcase, and we’re now here to confirm that the release date is April 16th, 2026, when the game will drop for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Can’t wait that long? A playtest will offer gamers their first taste of this dangerous world, starting tomorrow and running until November 4th. Check out NACON’s official site if you want to sign up. What we already know is that Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss takes place in a futuristic setting, with protagonist Noah being a supernatural investigator who is put on a case unfolding at the bottom of the ocean. We think it’s clear a certain tentacled god is the real culprit of this mystery.
