Dark Souls II release dates
Namco Bandai has revealed the release date of Dark Souls II, the long anticipated sequel to Dark Souls. This old-school action role-playing game is well-known for its difficulty and for challenging player’s skills in both single and multiplayer mode. Dark Souls II has been scheduled to release the 25th of April on PC in Europe and Australasia and with Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions being released the 14th of March.
PC gamers will be able to test their computer’s capabilities with a higher texture resolution and a higher frame rate. FromSoftware is also well aware of the troubles players had, playing Dark Souls using a mouse and a keyboard. Dark Souls II will now be perfectly playable with both a controller and keyboard & mouse.
Console-owners are still able to pre-order the game and will receive the Black Armour Edition including an exclusive Metal Case, the original game soundtrack and early access to the Black Armour Weapon Set while stocks last. PC gamers will receive the digital soundtrack, early access to the Black Armour Weapon Set and both a comic and art book in pdf-form as a digital extra.
