DEAD OR ALIVE 6 – A familiar face returns to the roster!
The newest fighter for DEAD OR ALIVE 6 roster has been announced; Raidou the sinister ninja is joining the roster. Although this fighter isn’t exactly “new” to the series he is like a completely different person then he was before in the first DEAD OR ALIVE Tournament.
Raidou was known as an incredibly dangerous and evil ninja but he was thought to be killed during an explosion after the first DEAD OR ALIVE tournament. However, his body was secretly picked up and experimented on. He is now a sort of zombie that is extremely deadly and only is looking for destruction. His move set will feature Mugen Tenshin Ninjutsu as a base and will mostly be focused on strength-based attacks. He will mimic other fighters their moves but he uses them in combination with his own moves such as; Tenho-Gorai-Sho and Rekku-Jinraisatsu.
There were also a few other things announced together with Raidou. Two new stages are shown off with a series of images. A.P.O. and CHINESE FESTIVAL will be added to the stage list. A.P.O. shows a hallway from a creepy research facility. CHINESE FESTIVAL, on the other hand, is a colorful part of Chinatown during a spring festival. Two new modes were also explained in more detail; Quest and Training. Training will give players the chance to practice their moves and combos. They can either use Free Training, Tutorial or even Command Training or Combo challenge. All of these will help players to learn the game better however they want. Quest mode will allow players to improve their fighting even more by making them complete various missions. Players will have to complete various objectives during matches in order to complete a quest. Once they have completed a quest they will be awarded player points and cosmetic items.
DEAD OR ALIVE 6 is being developed for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC and will be released worldwide on the 1st of March 2019. Players that pre-order DEAD OR ALIVE 6 physically, will be able to get a Day One Steelbook Edition of the game, an extra fighter, Nyotengu, and an alternative costume for Kasumi while stocks last.
