Demo for fantasy RPG Call of Elyndra coming soon!
Quorum Games reveals a new demo for their upcoming fantasy life sim, Call of Elyndra. It’s a 2.5D, top-down RPG in which you create your protagonist, take care of the land, and protect the city of Elyndra. Another empire threatens Elyndra, and you must help its people to earn their trust. To do so, the game offers two play styles, so you’re free to choose which one fits you best.
The first play style makes you take care of the land, plant crops, fish, raise livestock, and sell goods at the town market to earn gold. Complete the narrative-driven farming quests and share your contributions with the townspeople to keep your reputation intact. Gather resources to earn XP to spend on farm-focused skill trees. Or you could decide to focus on combat instead. In this case, you’ll increase your reputation by undertaking dangerous quests. You’ll earn XP to spend on a combat-focused skill tree. Either way, you’ll build relationships with the villagers, and increasing your affinity points unlocks special stat bonuses and offers knowledge of Elyndra’s lore.
Now, back to the demo. Call of Elyndra’s demo offers a key feature of the game. You’ll fish for a variety of species, ranging from Common and Rare to Mythical. For a Rare to appear, you must land three catches in a row, and for a Mythical, it should be five. Additionally, the game offers efficient hold-and-tap controls for fishing.
Call of Elyndra will launch in early access for PC later this year. A fishing tournament will be held on the game’s Discord, rewarding the player who catches the largest and rarest fish.
