Demon Skin arrives soon on PC, consoles to follow
Buka Entertainment and LUDUS FUTURE have shared more details about their upcoming game Demon Skin, which is set to debut next month on PC. This brutal 2D hack-and-slash game with a challenging combat system thrusts players into a harsh dark fantasy world where they will test their will and their skills against deadly environments and towering foes. Players brave enough to take on Demon Skin will join the Order of Wanderers where they become an axe-tossing, realm-crossing, boss-bossing brute locked in battle against hordes of demons and their sinister masters. The game was conceptualized as early as 2014, when project lead Denis Listov first came up with a plan. Win no prior development experience, Listov himself faced off against numerous development foes, mirroring this journey with that of the Wanderer protagonist of the game.
The game features a sophisticated combat system that allows players to improve their skills by mastering various stances. This is backed up by an extensive skill tree, which will be necessary to take on the dozens of enemy types, ranging from skeletons and zombies to spiders, werewolves, lizards and goblins, each of which requiring a different approach. Thankfully, the Wanderer also has a wide arsenal of over 30 types of weapons at his disposal, including his bare hands. The world also hides many secrets and artifacts in its wide variety of environments, such as icy wastelands and twilight forests. You’ll be able to discover demon skin for yourself when it launches on PC on the 13th of April. PS4, Xbox One and Switch versions are also set to arrive this year, though no release date has been confirmed so far.
