Detective Hayseed finds his way to Steam Greenlight
Detective Hick Hayseed has found his way to Steam Greenlight with his video game Detective Hayseed – Hollywood. Inspired by classic sceneries, the detective has to solve the mystery about the stolen list of Oscar winners which has been stolen as a ploy to overturn the well-established Hollywood order. Hayseed struggles through a series of tests and tasks as he uncovers the truth. As he passes each test, clues are left that will lead to the identification of the villain.
Detective Hayseed – Hollywood is a point ‘n click adventure with hand drawn airbrushed backgrounds, revealing a plethora of humoristic pop culture reference such as Pirates of the Caribbean amongst many others. The narrative is dramatic and possibly world-changing while it is also deep and mystic and includes jokes that can be enjoyed by all ages.
Although the game is currently undergoing a Steam Greenlight campaign, the developers have already mentioned that they are planning to release the game in the third quarter for a price of 14,99 Euro or its local equivalent and will feature three languages; English, German and Czech.
