Diablo 4 revealed at BlizzCon. Watch the gameplay trailer here
The wait is over for true friends. No more memes about ”don’t you guys have phones?” involving mobile versions of popular games, but a real sequel to the Diablo series, adding number IV to the first three installments. Diablo 4 will revolve around Sanctuary, a grim and bleak landscape that is part of the Diablo universe since the beginning. Sanctuary in Diablo 4 is described as a ”contiguous, seamless landmass” that involves many different places and biomes. Also, besides legendary loot and gear like people can expect from the Diablo franchise, these three classes will be playable in the upcoming game:
- The Barbarian, known for their unparalleled strength and brutal melee combat, utilizes a new and more powerful system in battle, Arsenal, which arms them with the ability to carry and rapidly switch between four different weapons at a time by assigning them to individual attacks.
- The Sorceress hearkens back to their Diablo II roots and shapes the elements to obliterate their foes by impaling them upon jagged spikes of ice, electrocuting them with bolts of lightning, or raining flaming meteors from the sky.
- The Druid is a savage shapeshifter whose updated playstyle empowers them to fluidly transform between a werewolf, werebear, and human form to unleash the raw power of nature’s fury on the forces of the Burning Hells.
When Diablo 4 will release is still unknown, but the game is in full development and was able to show some screens and footage already:
