Diablo Immortal – First blog now live!

Approaching the official launch of Diablo Immortal, the first blog post for this game details the learnings from the recent Closed Beta test. In this blog, Game Director Wyatt Cheng and Senior System Designer Kris Zierhut go into detail on some of the most impactful changes which will be implemented for launch. Diablo Immortal is an upcoming free-to-play video game in the Diablo series, designed for mobile devices. The massively multiplayer online action role-playing game takes place between the events of Diablo II and Diablo III. Diablo Immortal is planned to be released in 2022, is developed by Blizzard and NetEase and will be published by Blizzard Entertainment.
The Closed Beta added a ton of new content, including the addition of the Necromancer, PvP and PvE updates, Set Items, controller support, and more. Approaching the official launch, more changes are being added to the game based on player feedback, such as major improvements on a variety of gameplay features and systems. This blog posts dives further into many improvements, updates and overhauls which are being implemented based on player feedback and experiences from the closed beta.
