Discover Albion with Anno 117’s latest trailer

Ubisoft has unveiled a brand new trailer for the upcoming city-building sim Anno 117: Pax Romana. The trailer showcases Albion, the Celtic province that will serve as one of the game’s key regions. Its reveal comes ahead of the game’s first public demo, which will run from September 2nd to September 16th. Developed by Ubisoft Mainz, Anno 117: Pax Romana places players in the role of a Roman governor tasked with shaping provinces, managing resources, and making decisions that affect the empire’s prosperity. Every choice, from religion and technology to military and cultural policy, plays a role in determining both the stability of the population and the reach of Roman influence.
The newly introduced Albion province offers a distinctive experience far removed from the traditional grandeur of Rome. Players will face the decision of either embracing Celtic traditions or enforcing Roman customs through the game’s Romanisation feature, which shapes local culture and governance. Albion also introduces new gameplay mechanics tied to its unique setting. These include an expanded pantheon of Celtic gods—such as Epona, Mercury-Lugus, and Cernunnos—that provide different benefits depending on the path players choose. The province also unlocks technologies inspired by both Celtic practices and Roman engineering, including innovations like swamp drainage that open opportunities for expansion. Anno 117: Pax Romana is scheduled to launch on November 13, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna, and PC.
