Discover Rally Japan in new WRC 9 gameplay video
Following New Zealand and Kenya, NACON and KT Racing studio are pleased to present Rally Japan, a brand new round for the 2020 season in which players can participate in WRC 9, the official video game of the FIA World Rally Championship. WRC 9 will be released on September 3, 2020, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store. WRC 9 Standard and Deluxe Digital Editions are currently available and ready for pre-ordering. The game will also be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox One Series X, and Nintendo Switch at a later date.
Rally Japan was last ridden in 2011 but is now back for the WRC season finale in November. This rally allows players to enjoy the spectacular mountains and forests of the Aichi and Gifu districts. In WRC 9, players – like the real WRC drivers – have to work hard to overcome the narrow asphalt roads and tight turns of the track, where the lush environment can greatly hinder drivers’ sight.
For WRC 9, the passionate developers of the French studio KT Racing have once again made every effort to meet the high expectations of rally fans, who long for more challenge and realism. With an improved career mode and many technical improvements, players will be thrown into the heart of the new FIA World Rally Championship season with all the content of the annual calendar and much more:
- 3 new rallies: Japan, New Zealand, Kenya
- More than 50 official teams and their colors from the WRC, WRC 2, WRC 3 and Junior WRC
- More than 15 bonus cars that have left their mark on WRC history
More details and exclusive new game modes will be revealed soon! For now, discover Rally Japan in WRC 9 in this brand new gameplay video:
