Distant Bloom gets a release date
Publisher Kinda Brave Entertainment and developer Ember Trail have announced the release date for their upcoming title Distant Bloom, alongside a preview video for the game, which you can watch below. In Distant Bloom, players join a cosmic expedition on an alien planet, tasked with establishing a new home for humanity. Following a tumultuous journey and an unexpected crash landing, the anticipated lush paradise turns out to be a desolate wasteland. Players, accompanied by the faithful robot companion Kei’ki and their team, must unravel the mysteries surrounding the planet’s downfall and work to restore its natural splendor.
Exploration of various biomes, such as hills, marshes, gorges, and forests, awaits players, each featuring distinct flora and terrain. As players manage resources, gather materials, and nurture seeds, they’ll expand settlements, upgrade tools, and foster relationships with companions. Along the way, encounters with animals in need of assistance and exploration of ancient ruins offer insights into the planet’s history and ecological balance. Distant Bloom will be available on PC via Steam starting March 27th, 2024. A demo for the game is available on the game’s Steam page.
