Pronty, an aquatic Metroidvania game developed by 18Light Game, FunZone Games, and Joy Brick Inc. and published by Happinet under the Happinet Indie Collection, has been released on the Nintendo Switch eShop. The game sees players take control of Pronty and his robotic swordfish companion Bront as they search for the source of pollution that has mutated the aquatic city’s fish into fearsome foes. Pronty will traverse through open oceans, cavernous mazes, and debris-filled coves, battling over 40 types of creatures with Bront’s long-range combat options and hot-swappable abilities to create an optimal build for every situation. Boss Rush mode is also available for skilled players looking to put Pronty and Bront’s abilities to the test.
Pronty features a colorful underwater Atlantis full of puzzles and secrets, a line-art style backdrop, and comic book-esque cutscenes, all complimented by an ominous soundtrack.
