Dungeon Defenders: Awakened coming to PlayStation on May 3

Developer Chromatic Games have announced the latest title in their acclaimed Dungeon Defenders series, Dungeon Defenders: Awakened, will be releasing on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 via backwards compatibility the upcoming 3rd of May.

In Dungeon Defenders: Awakened, players will once again visit the dungeons of Etheria to defend its precious crystals from evildoers. By assembling defensive blockades and damage-dealing towers they’ll be able to destroy oncoming waves of trolls, goblins, and other devious foes. Alongside these defenses, players will also be able to control the powerful Defenders.

Each of these heroes specializes in different weapons, abilities, and towers. The Huntress excels at traps and stealth, while the Squire utilizes massive barricades and the Warden commands minion spawning vessels to subdue incoming villains. By cashing in experience points, players will be able to buff Defenders’ vitality, attack, power, range, and other stats to customize builds.

After the battle, the time to collect the spoils of war and equip upgraded armor, weapons, and accessories follows. The game features a multi-arc story campaign, alongside seven distinctive game modes with local or online multiplayer.

Dungeon Defenders: Awakened will be available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 via backwards compatibility for $29.99 with English language support. More language options are planned for future content updates.
