Enjoy Frankenstein through a new lens with The Bride!
Directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal and with a star-studded cast of acting talent including but not limited to Jessie Buckley, Christian Bale, Peter Sarsgaard, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Penélope Cruz, The Bride! is a fun reimagining of Frankenstein. Based on the 1935 movie The Bride of Frankenstein, which in turn is an adaptation of the original novel, this movie focuses on an ostracized man who seeks out a doctor who can make him a lover. For that purpose, they revive a murdered woman, but this obviously leads to a web of deceit and tension. The movie will become available on July 8th, digitally through all the expected channels, or you can get a physical copy in the form of a DVD, Blu-Ray, or 4K UHD.
