Enter GLUM’s arena this week
Danish indie studio CinderCat Games has revealed an all-new Arena Mode for its upcoming comedic action-adventure game GLUM, which enters Early Access on Steam for PC later this week. Arena Mode challenges players with multiple waves of increasingly difficult enemies. Healing opportunities are limited, making this mode more difficult than the standard story mode. Players who complete all waves will earn a new cosmetic boot item as a reward.
Future updates to Arena Mode are already being planned, including new arenas, additional enemy types, more waves, and various environmental hazards and traps. For the uninitiated, GLUM follows a reluctant goblin protagonist equipped with a magical boot. After years of mundane service to an overlord, he is unexpectedly thrust into a rescue mission involving combat and exploration. GLUM will be available in Early Access for PC on Steam starting May 22, 2025.
