Evolution for the new Pokémon Meltan discovered
Today, The Pokémon Company and Nintendo have published their recent discovery of the Pokémon Melmetal, the evolution of the recently discovered legendary Pokémon Meltan in Pokémon GO. This will be the first legendary Pokémon that’s known to have an evolution. Meltan only appears in Pokémon GO.
3000 years ago, Melmetal was worshipped for his ability to produce metal. Melmetal has its own signature move called Double Iron Bash, a Steel-type move. With a six-sided nut in his chest that Melmetal uses to spin his arms, it can deal a powerful double hit to his enemies.
One condition is needed for Meltan to evolve into Melmetal. Meltan can only evolve to Melmetal in Pokémon GO and 400 candies are needed for this to happen. After opening a Mystery Box you can catch Meltan that will provide you with candies. You can also get candies for Meltan by having it set-up as your buddy or by trading it to Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!
