FAIRY TAIL released today for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Steam
Today, KOEI TECMO America and developer GUST Studios released their FAIRY TAIL JRPG, on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Steam. The game, based on the anime and manga of the same name by Hiro Mashima, marks the first time a Fairy Tail game has been released on a home console in the West.
FAIRY TAIL invites players to re-live, or experience for the first time, the series’ storyline from the Tenrou Island arc through to the Tartaros arc, along with all-new story and quests. Throughout their journey, players will be able to form a five-mage battle party from a selection of over 16 iconic characters including fan favorites such as Natsu, Gray and Erza.
The character’s unique magic abilities from the series are brought to life within the game, including Unison Raids where characters can combine their magic spells to overpower enemies. Even Extreme Magic Spells can be used to get the upper hand in battle.
Outside of combat, players can also develop their relationships with their guildmates, experiencing new story interactions as well as strengthening their magic abilities. Players will even be able to upgrade different areas of the guild and take on extra requests.
