Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star is coming to Europe and Australia in January 2017

Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star is the highly-anticipated standalone action title set in the much-loved Fate universe and the game is coming to Europe and Australia in January 2017 in a series of high quality Collector’s Editions. More about these editions are below. Those who would like to get a feel of the game can travel to MCM Expo in London this weekend or to the 22nd edition of the Paris Manga and Sci-Fi show in November.

Set years after the events of Fate/EXTRA, players can explore the new world of Extella through a diverse cast of Servants – ancient warriors of legend and imagination – who survived the Holy Grail War that took place on the Moon. The all-powerful lunar super computer Moon Cell Automaton is ruling the universe and these Servants must dominate the fight in the digital realm known as SE.RA.PH. Facing a plethora of foes from earlier Fate products, including characters from Fate/EXTRA, Fate/stay night, Fate/Zero, Fate/Apocrypha and Fate/Grand Order, players can control the champions and grant them considerable powers which in turn will allow the champions to utterly destroy these aforementioned foes. Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star will contain the original Japanese voices with English subtitles.

And now for the collector’s edition, The Moon Crux Edition is set to launch on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita and will contain a 7.5″ by 6.3″ hardcover art book featuring more than a hundred pages of high-quality artwork of the game, as well as a pack of sixteen collectible 3″ by 5″ cards depicting each of the game’s Servants. To top it off, a 24″ by 17″ cloth poster is added in a high-quality presentation box that completes the premium finish of this exciting collector’s edition. The PS4 version costs 74.99 Euros or its local equivalent while the PS Vita version costs 69.99 Euros. Both versions are available for pre-order on the Marvelous Europe Store.

The standard edition of the game will also be available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita systems, respectively at physical and online retailers, complete with a physical item pre-order bonus of 16 collectible art cards at select partners. Before you pre-order your copy of the game, be sure to check out the new trailer.
