Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star launches on PS4 and PS Vita today

Marvelous Europa announced that the newest game within the Fate universe, Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star, is released throughout Europe today. The game is available for PS4 and PS Vita in both digital and retail formats. Players can choose between the normal version or the limited Moon Crux Edition. The latter is exclusive to the Marvelous Europe Store and contains a hardcover art book containing artwork and backstory from the game, a pack of sixteen collectible cards, and a cloth poster.

In Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star players will follow three  of the numorous ‘Servants’, ancient warriors who survived the Holy Grail War that took place on the moon. Servants fight eachother in the digital realm RE.RA.PH. The game takes place after the events of Fate/EXTRA and are able to fight against various characters from multiple Fate games.

There is also DLC planned for the game, these DLC packs will be released weekly over a period of five weeks. Each pack will have exlusive costume for multiple Sercants ranging from swimsuits to formal wear, and everything in between according to the developer.
