Final Fantasy is coming to Nintendo Switch and Xbox One

Two classics from the RPG genre, namely Final Fantasy X / X2 HD remaster and Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age, are coming to Nintendo Switch and Xbox One in April 2019. Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster will be available on 16th of April and Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age will be available on 30th of April.

The Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster includes Final Fantasy X as well as its sequel Final Fantasy X-2, both popular titles in the Final Fantasy franchise. In Final Fantasy X we follow the sports hero Tidus who leaps into an adventure with summoner Yuna to save Spira. The sequel takes place two years after these events. It is then that we follow the adventures of Yuna, Rikku and Paine who venture to unravel ancient secrets.

Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age is an improved version of the twelfth installment in the series. The design has been adapted and altered, and the graphics have been remastered in full HD. The game takes place in the world of Ivalice, where magic and air ships are not extraordinary. The small kingdom Dalmasca is being overrun by troops of Archadia and Rozarria. In order to stop the brute force infiltrating the kingdom, Princess Ashe, the last heir of the throne, creates a resistance to save her kingdom. The story begins when Asha meets Vaan, a young thief dreaming of the skies.

To celebrate the arrival of the Final Fantasy games to Nintendo Switch and Xbox One consoles, new artwork from Akihiko Yoshida has been revealed. It most certainly is something one should admire.
