First ten artists for NBA 2K Beats: The Search revealed

NBA 2K21 and UnitedMasters have revealed 10 artists that will be highlighted in the soundtrack for NBA 2K. Another 10 will be chosen during “2K Beats: The Search”. This second international competition saw over 13.000 submissions and the selected winners will make an appearance on the industry-leading soundtrack. With the reveal of the first 10 winners, the competition meets its half-way point today. The revealed selection sees the debut of the first European artist that will be a part of the NBA 2K21 Next Gen soundtrack. The winners were announced on Instagram by UnitedMasters and were chosen by rapper Jadakiss, Ronnie 2K and producers Murda Beatz and Tay Keith. 

Below are the first 10 artists and tracks that will be added to NBA 2K21 through an upcoming patch: 

Delly Everyday – Same Game (Phoenix, AZ);
Caleb Isaiah – Legend (Grayslake, IL);
Scotty Valid – UP (Covington, GA);
Jupiter Ki – $20Mill (Portland, OR);
Zane Smith – 24 Hours (Lithonia, GA);
Kayo Porter – Never Miss (Jackson, TN);
Smoovebeendidit – Hands Tied (Yonkers, NY);
Skippa Da Flippa – Win Again (Davie, FL);
10k.Caash – Left Knee (Irving, TX);
A1 Illa – Elevating (Londen, Engeland).

The full list of tracks available in the game can also be found on the NBA 2K21 Spotify playlist, which is continuously updated throughout the year. The final 10 winners will be chosen from the remaining entries by Translation and UnitedMasters founder and CEO Steve Stoute, and Boston Celtics All-Star Forward Jayson Tatum. These winners will be revealed on a weekly basis, starting on Friday the 12th of February, through UnitedMasters’ Instagram. When all 10 winners have been revealed, they’ll be then added to the NBA 2K21 Next Gen soundtrack through a future update.
