FOAMSTARS reveals its first season and more
FOAMSTARS, the upcoming 4v4 multiplayer foam party game by Square Enix, is almost here. A brand new trailer was just revealed, showcasing what players can expect from the first season. This season will be called Starry Pop and features tons of timed events and goodies. The season will go live when the game launches on February 6th and lasts until March 8th.
There are tons of things to enjoy in Season One, including the Ranked Party where players will rise through the ranks in seasonal events. There are both solo and team ladders to climb with seven ranks to unlock by taking on the Rank-Up Trials. Next is the Extreme Party where players will follow specific rules like only playing as Mel T in All Mel T Party or being invisible in Invisible Party. The first team to score ten chills wins. Enjoy your weekend with Happy FriYAY Party, where players can try out the new FOAMSTAR of next season in a game mode without winners or losers. All of this and more can be enjoyed in the first season of FOAMSTARS.
Aside from the first season, a roadmap was revealed to indicate what players can expect for the coming seasons. Each season will last around five weeks and introduces new characters, maps, events, and cosmetics. Each season also allows players to pick uo a Season Pass that gives access to the seasonal character and cosmetics by playing matches and completing missions. But no worries if you’d rather not commit tho this, as all new maps and modes will be playable for everyone, while other characters can be unlocked by completing challenges and rising through the ranks.
