Fortnite is that one game that came out of nowhere and conquered the hearts of many. While the game is often made fun of, and is equally often called a game for kids, you’ll find many adult gamers secretly enjoying this Battle Royale shooter as well. And, more than often, it’s those same adults that actually buy the special content, as they have the money for it. Now, The Minty Legends Pack has been released for Fortnite on all major platforms, and it includes ten cosmetic upgrades, as well as 1000 V-Bucks. As this pack does not add anything new in terms of gameplay, we’re going to keep things very short for this one.

As stated above, this DLC pack is a cosmetic pack, and thus you won’t unlock any new actual gameplay content. The pack includes ten items, which include new character and weapon skins. These skins are all very detailed and share a common theme with a lot of blue and green color tones embedded in the designs. The actual skins diversify you from your opponents, and the animated decals on some truly stand out. Nonetheless, as always with these packs and ‘upgrades’, it’s a matter of personal taste.

The full rundown of contents are the following:

  • Fresh Aura Outfit
  • Minty Multipack Back Bling
  • Minty Mountaineer Pickaxe
  • Minty Bomber Outfit
  • Spearmint Satchel Back Bling
  • Freshbreaker Pickaxe
  • Skellemint Oro Outfit
  • Minty Mantle Back Bling
  • Triple Mint Scepter Pickaxe
  • Fire Mint Wrap
  • 1,000 V-Bucks

The PlayStation version of the pack will set you back roughly €30 Euros/USD and is basically a discount bundle if you were planning on buying all these items seperately. This means that IF you were interested in most of the content of this package, then you’ll be getting a fairly sweet deal. If you only like one or two items from the pack, then you won’t get the most out of it. For some reason, Nintendo charges €/$5 more for this, but the same principle can be applied here.

Fortnite – The Minty Legends Pack does add a lot of bling to your Fortnite experience and it does give you a proper bang for your buck. That being said, we do find these cosmetic upgrades quite pricey, as they often simply serve as a shiny status symbol, not actually making the game any better. Even so, this package includes a lot of content, and the discount you get on the bundle, versus buying everything separately, is still worth your while if you were looking into these items.
