Four new characters join the adventure in Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key
Adventure is fun and the bigger the party the more fun there is. Today KOEI TECMO America and developer GUST Studios have announced four new characters and some gameplay details to the newest game in their lineup: Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key. Previously we covered both Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout and Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy so feel free to check them out.
In Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key players will follow fan-favorite Reisalin Stout and her mischievous friends on their third summer adventure. There has been a group of mysterious islands appearing and this has affected the stability of their hometown Kurken Island. This JRPG is filled to the brim with adventure elements, discover landmarks, go on random quests, meet the wildlife and uncover hidden areas. No stone is left untouched as you’ll be able to climb cliffs, zip line across shores and summon a water beast to climb waterfalls. Fight with the many monsters that have settled on these islands and maybe you’ll earn the respect of the local wildlife to show you where some treasure is buried.
Our original group of friends will be expanded with various new faces that are encountered during the travels. First, we meet Federica Lamberti, a strong-minded and persistent woman that looks like she has something to do with the coming of the islands. Next up is Dian Farrell who is part of the local militia group. An old face (well for Reisalin) joins the fray as childhood friend Bos tags along. He has been training in secret to come to join you and this makes the mission so much more fun. Lastly, a half-animal half-human Kala Ideas joins, she is a great elder who is over a thousand years old and is a legend among the Oren clan.
