Frosthaven launches in Early Access tomorrow!

Arc Games, Asmodee, and Cephalofair Games have revealed the Early Access launch trailer a day early for Frosthaven. It’s a dark fantasy tactical RPG based on the board game of the same name. Frosthaven is entering Early Access on Steam and Epic Games Store tomorrow, July 31. Arc Games and Twin Sails have also partnered up to offer a bundle that includes both Frosthaven and Gloomhaven, available for a limited time starting tomorrow.
Frosthaven is a spiritual successor to Gloomhaven and is developed by Snapshot Games. Expect deep mechanics and challenging yet satisfying gameplay. Frosthaven offers six brand-new character classes, each featuring unique playstyles and abilities. You’ll unlock additional classes as you progress. The game also offers tactical turn-based combat based on an ability card system.
In Frosthaven, you’ll also have to manage your Outpost by creating buildings and completing events to unlock new game features. Outside of your Outpost, you’ll explore different biomes, changing seasons, and dynamic environments. Next, Early Access offers single-player and online co-op multiplayer modes, along with NVIDIA GeForce NOW support for those who want to stream the game. It also includes more than 35 tactical quests, including in-depth tutorial missions and more than 100 choice-driven events.
From tomorrow, players can witness how faithful video game adaptation evolves the board game experience. Tomorrow’s Early Access launch is just the beginning, as players can experience one-third of the planned content for the game’s 1.0 launch. Players can share feedback through the official Discord to help shape the game throughout Early Access.
According to Snapshot Games, Frosthaven is set to be in Early Access for about a year. More post-Early Access launch content details will come in an Early Access content roadmap later on. To celebrate the Early Access, Arc Games features Frosthaven at Gen Con 2025, the largest tabletop game convention in North America, starting tomorrow.
