Fully licensed Mafia: Definitive Edition Soundtrack is coming your way this month
Today, 2K and Hangar 13 released details of the fully licensed soundtrack of Mafia: Definitive Edition. The soundtrack features 35 songs from jazz greats like Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway, Django Reinhardt, Lionel Hampton, and more. Ranging from melodic and sad to up-tempo and rhythmic, the game’s classic songs take players to the unique Lost Heaven. This city is located in the Midwestern United States at the time of Prohibition, full of crime and corruption. Click here to view the full tracklist.
Later this week, 2K and Hangar 13 will also share the third of four planned videos that highlight different aspects of Mafia: Definitive Edition. The first video, ‘Welcome to the City of Lost Heaven’, gave players a taste of the game’s rebuilt setting. The second video, ‘Life of a Gangster’, showed the game’s much-improved driving and shooting mechanics. In this week’s video, ‘Through the Ranks from Bootegd to Bank Robbing’ takes a look at the campaign’s missions. Finally, the final video that is coming on September 23 shows how the game’s orchestral soundtrack came together during a global pandemic.
Mafia: Definitive Edition – the comprehensive, completely rebuilt remake of the original Mafia – launches September 25. The remake features an updated script packed with rich new dialogues, extensive background stories, and additional cutscenes. Players will also find all-new gameplay sequences and features, best-in-class cinematics, and other enhancements. It’s the Mafia that players remember and much more.

Players who purchase Mafia: Trilogy digitally will have instant access to Mafia II: Definitive Edition and Mafia III: Definitive Edition and will be able to download Mafia: Definitive Edition when it is released on September 25. Mafia: Definitive Edition, Mafia II: Definitive Edition, and Mafia III: Definition Edition are also available separately. The games are available separately and bundled for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam. The full Trilogy will also be available on the Epic Games Store from September 25.
