Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved released

The twin-stick shooter game Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions, which we’ve reviewed here, get’s a large update. The free update creates an even bigger adventure with new levels and features and is dubbed as Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved.

Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved adds another 40 levels to the original single-player Adventure Mode, including boss battles, 3D grid shapes and objectives as well as a new drone called the Sweeper and powerful possibilities of the Detonator. The Adventure mode has been improved so that you may now progress more easily which means you’ll be able to unlock your favorite modes faster.

The update also has new challenges for the die-hard fans of Geometry Wars. The Hardcore mode has another 20 levels so that you may grind your way up to the top of the leaderboards again. The game also offers more than 100 stages with rapid-fire action, which is available on various game modes – including an extended Classic mode. You’ll also receive bonus challenges to keep you occupied even more. The fun doesn’t stop here however as there is a local co-op mode for up to four players and an online competitive multiplayer mode for up to eight players.

All of this is certainly enough new content for players to dive right back into Geometry Wars 3. The update Dimensions Evolved is available as of today, free of charge, if you own a copy of Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions. The expansion is available on PlayStation Network for PS3 and PS4 players, while the Xbox 360 and Xbox One console owners can find it in the Xbox Games Store. Of course, it is also available via Steam for PC.
