George Orwell’s Animal Farm brings pig tyranny to gaming this Autumn
“All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others”. Even if you’re not big on books, this line from Animal Farm will probably ring a bell, maybe even more so considering the scary times we’re living in. George Orwell’s famous novel is making a video game debut soon with the help of indie developers The Dairymen and Nerial. The project is funded by the Orwell estate itself and hopes to bring this classic to life for modern generations, in the form of an adventure game that allows players to take a very active role on the titular farm itself, making choices that influence the flow of the story. A specific release date is pending, but should fall in Autumn of this year. The game can be wishlisted on Steam starting today.
