Get your first look at OPUS: Prism Peak in a new trailer
Publisher SHUEISHA GAMES and developer SIGONO have announced OPUS: Prism Peak, a single-player, photography-driven adventure game with elements of magical realism. In OPUS: Prism Peak, players take on the role of Eugene, a 40-year-old former photojournalist and café owner, who sets out to return to his hometown. An unexpected accident leads him to the Dusklands—a quiet, surreal world marked by fading light and emotional undercurrents. Reunited with his long-abandoned camera, Eugene begins to document the world around him.
Early in the journey, Eugene encounters a young girl who recalls only a single goal: returning to a distant mountain within the Dusklands. With no clear path home, the two set off together, exploring unfamiliar terrain, interacting with enigmatic spirits, and capturing ephemeral moments. As they progress, a looming, indistinct presence—described in shades of red and black—appears to follow Eugene, becoming more prominent as the story unfolds. Photography serves both a narrative and gameplay function in OPUS: Prism Peak, allowing players to preserve fleeting memories, explore the environment, and reflect on key events. The game continues SIGONO’s tradition of narrative-rich, emotionally resonant storytelling. OPUS: Prism Peak is scheduled for release on Steam in Fall 2025.
