Ghostrunner will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X; owners of the current generation versions for Playstation 4 and Xbox One will be upgraded for free to the next generation consoles’ version when they are released in 2021. You can purchase the game now for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC; pre-ordering before Tuesday, Oct. 27 will grant you limited-time discounts and exclusive swords. This game is being developed by One More Level, 3D Realms and Slipgate Ironworks, and is planned to be released on 27 October, 2020
Ghostrunner is fast-paced, features violent combat, and has an original setting that blends science fiction with post-apocalyptic themes. It tells the story of a world that has already ended and its inhabitants who fight to survive. A city in a giant tower is the last bastion of humanity, where implants determine membership in various castes that divide the community. Violence and poverty lead to a rebellion. Players assume the role of a hero who can fight both in the physical world and in cyberspace. Your goal is to ascend the tower and defeat its ruler, the Keymaster.
