God Save Birmingham showcases updates ahead of closed beta test starting June 22nd
God Save Birmingham, an upcoming zombie apocalypse survival game set in medieval Europe, has uploaded a new dev log ahead of its closed beta test that will begin on June 22nd. The update seems to be focused mostly on combat, with smoother animations, new weapons such as halberds and spears, and more responsive controls. Other important content additions include chickens to be kept as livestock and hydration mechanics where you can collect water from the river but must cleanse it to keep from becoming sick. The weather system has also had a full overhaul. To get an idea of everything that has been changed or added, we recommend checking out the devs’ own video down below. Or head over to the Steam page of the game to see how you can partake in the closed beta yourself, since it will run from June 22nd to June 29th.
