Graphic novel adventure game Shuyan Saga comes to consoles next month
Shuyan Saga, the graphic novel adventure game set in a Chinese martial arts fantasy universe, was released in 2017 for PC and Mobile. Now, ESDigital Games and Lofty Sky Entertainment are proud to introduce the game to a whole new fan base, when it releases on all major consoles next month.
Embark on the tale of the rebellious princess Shuyan, who sets out on a journey to destroy the evil Guar horde and save the Five Kingdoms. She can only accomplish this by becoming a true disciple of Kung Fu. Shuyan Saga features a mix of visual novel storytelling and thrilling 3D action combat. Experience the story through more than 1400 beautiful art panels, created by talents like Chinese comic book master Daxiong, known for his work on Star Wars and DC comics. Fight your way through the Guar horde with over 300 combat animations, based on motion-captured techniques from real Kung-Fu masters. All of this is accompanied by a fitting soundtrack by composer Aaron Tsang.
Be sure to check out Shuyan Saga when it releases on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series S/X on the 22nd of September. This release features some optimizations to the combat system and support for a number of additional languages.
