Halo: Spartan Assault
Halo fans are set to receive a new game this year, this time for your Windows phone and Windows 8 pc.
Halo will be making its way into the dual joystick shooter genre with the upcoming game, as you follow Sarah Palmer or Spartan Davis during events between Halo 3 and Halo 4. As you follow the Spartans the game will delve into the backstory of both characters and the Spartan IV’s as you play through some of Humanities most important battles against the Covenant, with 25 campaign missions.
If you own Halo 4 playing Halo: Spartan Assault will earn you achivements, emblems, and XP back into its larger console brethren.
The newest game in the Halo franchise is set to make its way onto Windows 8 devices this July, and an update to the game post-launch is set to bring Xbox controller support. Here is hoping that the game will eventually make its way onto XBLA.
