Hanako: Honor & Blade release announced
Today, +Mpact Games have announced the release of their upcoming samurai multiplayer game, Hanako: Honor & Blade. This is an immersive online multiplayer combat experience set in Feudal Japan. This game will launch on Steam for PC this Summer.
Hanako: Honor & Blade has been in the works for about fourteen years and will soon be ready for its release. The art and backstory of the game serve as a symbolic tribute to the late mother of team lead Matt Canei, an industry veteran currently working at ILMxLAB. The art and lore of the game represent a struggle of life and death that is embodied by the two warrior clans in this game. The Hanako clan embodies health and goodness while the Yamai clan symbolizes the opposition to life inherent in cancer and other vile diseases.
Hanako: Honor & Blade takes players online in immersive battles in Feudal Japan with up to 24 players. There are several classes you can choose and each of these has their own abilities and spirit-based skills. You’ll play as a part of one of the two clans and you seek to defeat the opponent through multiple game modes.
