Haunted Dungeons: Hyakki Castle coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch
It’s time to start reading up on ancient Japanese literature if you want to survive in Haunted Dungeons: Hyakki Castle. This real-time dungeon crawling RPG from Japanese videogame publisher, Happinet is taking us all the way back to the Edo Period of Japan. This period of time was a high point for the Shogun order and the samurai. In those times when you were sentenced to prison, you were exiled to an island, Hyakki Island served as such an island prison. One of the prisoners turns out to be a cunning rebel mastermind. When a mysterious castle appears out of nowhere on the island, the Shogun order sends four warriors to investigate and eliminate all threats. The castle is home to many monsters such as the Yokai, luckily the four warriors are expert monster slayers. The game features a two party systems which allows you to split up your team in two groups of two. We all know that splitting up in a monster infested place is the way to go.
