Heartworm is coming to PC this Spring

Heartworm is an homage to classic horror games such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill. The game, thought up by Vincent Adinolfi, is coming to PC in spring to bring an early Halloween season. The game panders to fans of the classics with mechanics, controls, and graphics inspired by the classics from the late 90s while also giving the option to modernize the experience for people who are new to the genre. So it is the ideal game for both veterans and newer fans.

Heartworm follows the story of Sam, a girl who wishes to contact the other side after losing her grandpa. This leads to a game that focuses on exploration and puzzles with only limited combat with your camera. All of this exploration is set in retro-inspired atmospheric environments with a haunting soundtrack. Besides reliving the classic nostalgia experience, the game offers replayability with multiple endings to Sam’s journey to learn to cope with grief and loss. This journey is supported by both pre-rendered and in-game cutscenes that help compile the story of Sam’s journey to reach her grandpa again.

This fresh addition to the psychological survival thriller genre will be released on PC in spring 2025, and a demo is currently available on Steam.
