HEXWORKS reveals the end-of-year roadmap for Lords of the Fallen
HEXWORKS is set to deliver a wealth of fresh content and enhancements for players of their dark fantasy action-RPG, Lords of the Fallen. Today, they unveiled the game’s roadmap for the remainder of the year, promising an engaging array of events and features. Building on the success of the recent Halloween-themed Season of the Bleak, two more events are scheduled to delight players before the year’s end, offering new experiences to the valiant heroes in the realm of Mournstead. In addition to these thrilling events, a consistent weekly stream of updates is on the horizon. These updates will focus on enhancing the game’s stability, optimizing performance, and improving overall game balance. The development team is also committed to refining the online cross-play experience.
As the developers look forward to the year-end, players can anticipate multiple new questlines that lead to the discovery of unique armor sets and weapons, some of which were collaboratively designed with the community during Livestream events. Furthermore, the game will introduce 12 new spells, new finisher attacks, and an array of community-requested features. One of the most anticipated additions is the New Game Plus (NG+) modifier system, a first of its kind in the genre. This roadmap for free content follows a busy schedule since the game’s release on October 13th. HEXWORKS has been working closely with the passionate player base, promptly implementing user feedback to enhance the game. Changes have included adjustments to mob density, increased boss difficulty, and the restoration of vestiges to NG+ mode, expanding its depth. The development team also hinted at more support and updates to be revealed in the future. Lords of the Fallen is available now on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
